Summer Youth Virtual Career Exploration Program
Do you have a young person at home between the ages of 14 and 21 who is looking to earn money this summer and gain valuable skills? Then our Virtual Summer Youth Works Program may be the perfect fit. This career exploration program, lead by our MassHire Career Center Youth Counselor, includes career readiness training, project-based learning activities with other participants, on-line mock interview sessions, and lunch and learn career explorations conducted by professionals from across the state. Dates:
July 6th – August 7th
Stipend:
$12.75 per hour, approx. 80 hours
Schedule:
Monday – Friday 8:00 – 12:30
Materials:
Participants will need to have internet access and a device such as a desktop computer, laptop or tablet in order to participate. Homework assignments will be required and attendance is mandatory to maintain enrollment in the program.
Families Impacted by COVID-19
If you or a family member have been impacted by Covid-19 either from becoming ill or losing employment your child will be eligible regardless of family income.
